Two riders were unable to finish the grueling race, one due to injury and the other due to a flat tire. There was another two that was only able to complete one lap, but the racing organizers say they appreciated their participation just the same.
The race was broken down into various phases including three sprint laps on the 2nd, 4th and 5th laps.
In the Open Male I division, Sweeting took all three of the sprints. In the Open Male II division Larry Glinton worked hard especially on the 3rd lap and he too won all three of the sprints.
Laurence Jupp Jr. won the U-23 division and Anthony 'Biggie' Colebrook won the U-16 division respectively.
The U-14 juniors raced three laps on the six mile course including one sprint lap. Justin Minnis won the sprint lap.
Antionece Simmons won the U-14 Girls title and was second overall among the females.
In the Junior boys U-14 Tony Mackey took first place in one hour 4:04.47. Raheem Colebrook was second, Justin Minnis was third with just a few seconds separating all three.
Among the seniors Tracey Sweeting won the race in one hour 53:10.10, Barron Musgrove was second in one hour 53:15.38, and he was followed third by Laurence Jupp Jr. in one hour 3:16.75.
Rolf Fasth was fourth in one hour 53:23.66, Eugene Heastie was fifth in two hours 6:59.85, Alexander Bain was sixth in two hours 7:08.82, Anthony Colebrook was seventh in two hours 07:10.82 while Larry Glinton brought up the rear in eight finishing the course in two hours 07:22.03.

The cycling series will continue on Saturday March 29th with a bike-athalon beginning at 8am at Mount Pleasant Village/Lyford Cay entrance.
The competitors will ride their bicycles around the south ocean loop, then run between one and two miles before getting back on the bicycles and heading to the Coral Harbour round about and back.
Meanwhile, The Caribbean Cycling Federation will stage its Jr. and Sr. Championships as this summer.
The Junior Caribbean Cycling Championship will be stage in Curacao from July 12th to 13. The Senior Caribbean Cycling Championship would take place from the 11th to 12th of October in Trinidad & Tobago.
