The tournament was dubbed "Totally Youth, Non-violence and Community Involved" which brought out many of the area residents to the park to watch the young men display their talents.
Manger of the Nassau Village Urban Renewal center Leo Douglas said the tournament was a success with the help of the community.
Douglas said the community requested such a tournament for the better development of the youth and to bring persons in the community together.
"We are thankful to the Minister of Education Youth, Sports and Culture and Member of Parliament, Carl Bethel for bringing words of encouragement not only to the participants, but to the parents.
"With this tournament over, we are planning many more community tournaments through sports as karate is our next step."
"There are other programmes that we will embark on, but will be educational", said Douglas.
Douglas thanked New Villas Barber Shop and The Ministry of Housing & National Insurance for their sponsorship and support.
