Fast Pitch Tonight In Grand-B At St. Paul's College Park

If those thunderstorms that have blessed the North and Central Bahamas for the past two days subside, tonight there will be some very competitive fast pitch softball action at St. Paul's College Park home of the Grand Bahama Amateur Softball Association.

After Thursday’s very important coaches and managers meeting, teams in the league are expected to be even more competitive for the remainder of the season.

Tonight the women will play in the feature game that begins at 8:30pm with the Triple Play Pearls hosting the Kitty's Boutique Katz. The Katz are coming off a 12-8 loss to the Bahamasair Flyers on Monday, and are looking to get back on track. The Pearls are also coming off a loss. They were beaten by the Vopak Flames 11-10 on Wednesday night.

In the men's opener tonight at 6:45 pm, arguably the leagues two best men’s teams, the Elnet Mariners led by ace pitcher Brian 'Ninja Neely' and Renaldo Rolle at the plate and the D.E.L. Freighter led by pitcher Arthur Sands and slugger Kevin Charlton will square off before the sun sets.
