Police CC Hold Off Veterans From ScotiaBank - BCA Action

In The Bahamas Cricket Association regular league play on the weekend, the Police Cricket Club defeated ScotiaBank Paradise. The Police were led by O’Dain Tucker with 63 runs not out.
On Sunday in The Bahamas Cricket Association, the Police Cricket Club clashed with ScotiaBank Paradise in a thriller at Haynes Oval.

The Police batting first stumbled for a while until National youth player O'Dain Tucker and veteran Mario Ford produced a prolific scoring partnership to help their team to a respectable total of 196 runs.
Tucker scored 63 runs not out and Ford 28 runs.  Bowling for ScotiaBank Paradise was Keith Duncan, Gary Irvin, Andrew Nash and George who each took two wickets.
When it was their turn to bat ScotiaBank reached 192 runs before they stalled and fell just five runs shy of winning the match, instead they lost by four runs. 
A brilliant catch by Police Wayne Patrick ended the thrilling match.  ScotiaBank Paradise top scorer was Hamilton Guillard who netted a brilliant 88 runs.  There was no cricket play on Saturday.
This coming weekend, the Lucaya Cricket Club of Freeport, Grand Bahama will visit New Providence as guest of the Dynasty Stars.  The visit has the approval of The Bahamas Cricket Association. Duel matches  between the two teams will be played at Haynes Oval on Saturday and Windsor Park on Sunday. League matches will continue at both venues on Saturday and Sunday.
