According to prosecution, Leonard Rolle had sex with three girls ages 4, 9 and 11 in early 2004.
Based on evidence presented in the trial, Rolle reportedly broke into the young girl’s home on Labor Road off Hay Street, while their mother was at work.
Once inside, Rolle allegedly forced the youngest girl to perform oral sex on him, prosecution said.
Rolle also penetrated the youngest one after he burned her hand with an iron, according to prosecution.
The 9-year-old was successful in fighting him off, according to prosecution.
Police said when they arrested Rolle in 2004 he claimed he could not have done the crime because he was HIV positive.
During the trial, 11 persons took the witness stand including the girls’ mother who said Rolle was a member of the family’s church.
When he appeared before Supreme Court Justice Elliot Lockhart, he was sentenced to 14 consecutive years at Her Majesty’s Prison.
Prosecution in the case was Eucal Bonamy assisted by Sean Adderley.
Attorney Wallace Rolle represented Rolle.
