Men Charged With Robbing Tourists

By Kendea Jones
Two men accused of robbing nine tourists at the Queen’s Staircase earlier this month, were arraigned in court yesterday.

Johnny Guerrier, 19, and Ruben Johnson, 20, both Eneas Corner residents, were charged with eight counts of armed robbery.

The pair was charged along with 37-year-old Angie Moss, who was previously remanded.

According to reports, the trio robbed nine tourists of $500 cash and an assortment of jewelry by the Queen’s Staircase on October 11.

The men were not required to enter a plea to any of the charges.

The men, who were not represented by an attorney, were remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.

They are expected to return to court on February 12, 2010 for a preliminary hearing.
